This is the Time. Christmas 2014, Monday 1st of December 2014
Hi there!
Welcome back to the Memoirs of a Mormon Girl :P
This December, as I'm getting ready for Christmas, and maybe you are too, I decided to try something new. For each day in December (I might continue after Christmas Day) I will post a Christmas song and before the New Year, a New Year's song :) They will each be one of my most favorite Christmas songs and I'll link them to this blog via YouTube :)
Today I've chosen "This is the time" by Michael Bolton and Wynonna :)
I got the Christmas CD of Michael Bolton at Christmas 1997, when I was still in the hospital. I had been there since August 1997 and would remain there until April 1998. That was a very important time in my life. There is no other thing in my life that has happened parallel or equal to the eight months I spent in the hospital. Every time I listen to this song, it reminds me of the wonderful feeling of being at home on holiday from the hospital, when I was only 17 years old. It was a precious time in my life.

Dear Reader... Hi! :)
Hello hello hello!
Have you seen/heard of The Book of Mormon -musical? It's really mean, disrespectful and even gross at some parts, but some parts are good or okay. I have listened it to it on spotify many many times, but now it offends me. Not all of the songs, but many of them. Guess I'm more spiritual nowadays :)
And I've heard about a new movie or whatever, I think it's called "meet the Mormons"... I don't know if it's good or not. I've held off reading about it, because I want to see it first for myself and then see and decide if it's good, what my personal opinion of it is...
My cats are doing good, they are most certainly celestial spirits. They do not hurt anyone on purpose and they are very sweet. If they ever get excited about something, it's their playing time, and they need some action every day so that they stay happy and active :) I think my boy cat (Bisse) is so furry and the fur is almost like a lamb's fur. So I am the shepherd of two lambs :P They have a place in Heaven ---guaranteed :) <3
